TWO PROVINCIAL LEADERS CONFIRMED FOR DEBATE ON NORTHERN ISSUES

THUNDER BAY - Organizers of the Northwestern Ontario Regional Conference announced today that Progressive Conservative Leader, Tim Hudak, and New Democratic Party Leader, Andrea Horwath, have confirmed their participation in the scheduled Provincial Leaders debate on Northern issues in Thunder Bay on Friday, September 23 at 11:00am   Liberal Leader, Premier Dalton McGuinty, has also been invited to participate but has not yet confirmed his attendance.

The Northwestern Ontario Regional Conference is hosted by the Northwestern Ontario Municipal Association (NOMA), the Northwestern Ontario Associated Chambers of Commerce (NOACC) and the Northwestern Ontario Development Network (NODN) and brings together municipal, business and economic development leaders from across the Northwest. 

We are quite pleased that Mr. Hudak and Ms. Horwath have committed to attend this very important event, the culmination of a two-day conference on Northwestern Ontario’s future.  The conference will be held at the Valhalla Inn.  Registration information and a full conference agenda is available at www.noma.on.ca
